"Fairr In Love" Movie Review- Interesting Plot But Fails To Impress

Story:
Alpana (Kanupriya Sharma) is in love with an Engineer Dev (Firoz Khan) and they get married against the wishes of their families and head to Goa to settle down. Dev's best friend Yash (Ashwin Dhar) is a CBI officer. Though they lead a happy married life Alpana is often ridiculed and insulted by the members of her family, friends and neighbours for not begetting a child. In fact it is her husband Dev who has a low sperm count. Dev and Alpana love each other a lot and are always supportive of each other.
Alpana keeps herself busy with an NGO with kids while Dev is busy working. One day Alpana gets raped. After going through the circumstances she realises she is pregnant. Alpana is in two minds whether to have the child or not. But since circumstances in her marriage are not right she decides to have the child. However she is guilt ridden and wants to know who is the culrpit behind the rape. She wants justice in her life. Will she find justice and what will be the fate of the child, forms the crux of the story.
Script:
The plot of the story is outdated and tacky and seems like an old wine in a new bottle. The less said about the screenplay the better. Firoz Khan and Kanupriya are good Ashwin Dharand Dolly Arya could have performed better. Direction by A.K. Mishra is not upto the mark. The film is low at the script level. At least the director could have upped the film with some good music and songs but that too fails to impress.
Director Mishra fails to create any logic in the film and create suspense as to why the heroine is raped and what is the motive behind it. There are hardly any chances that it will survive at the first day at the box office as it's releasing against Nitesh Tiwari's Chichore.
