Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Sacred Games and McMafia get nominated at Emmy’s, actor is on cloud nine

Just a few days ago, it was learnt that Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer two-part crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), directed by Anurag Kashyap has been nominated in the Guardian’s list of best 100 films acquiring the 59th position.

While the elated actor is currently savouring this big announcement, another good news came his way as his two series Sacred Games and McMafia are nominated at the prestigious Emmy awards.


Excited Nawazuddin took to Twitter and wrote, “Hearty Congratulations to James Watkins & James Norton & to all the actors from 12 countries for our show #McMafia being nominated at the prestigious Emmy Award, also a big hug to Radhika Apte and team Lust Stories for being nominated.”


The actor also sends love to her co-actor and a close friend Radhika Apte for her Lust Story being nominated in the same award show.
