Ujda Chaman Movie Review- Hardly Any Scenes Which Makes U Laugh

MOVIE REVIEW :
1*UJDA CHAMAN *(1/5)
Duration :120 min.
Director :Abhishek Pathak
Producer :Kumar Mangat Pathak &Abhishek Pathak
Music :Gourov-Roshin & Guru Randhawa.
(Based on Kannada film "Ondu Motteya Kather-2017)directed by Raj Shetty who also played the lead role.

PLUS POINTS :

1)Film is based on some real life incidents to which many youths would associate.

2)Second half has good moments; full of family drama with a few lighter and  emotional moment's.

3)Dir. Abhiskek Pathak, though not consistent, has done a fair job in his debut film.

4)Grusha kapoor & Atul kumar have done a decent job.

MINUS POINTS :

1)Film has practically Zero face value. Neither the hero Sunny Singh nor any of the heroines  (Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma sharma, & Aishwarya Sakhuja) are known to the masses. Sunny singh wears a constant   one  expression throughout. He has  no entity as a solo hero to carry the film on his shoulders independently. Carrying wooden faced expression, Sunny has lost the golden opportunity of proving his worth as a solo hero.

2)Though the film is supposed to be a comedic one, there are hardly any scenes which make u laugh.
3)Too much footage has been given in first half to ridicule a bald person which is in bad taste.

4)Music: All songs are below average.

5)First half is too slow, the movie hardly moves forward making it boring.

6)College scenes are poor and not executed properly. Screenplay is not upto the mark in the first half and dialouges are pretty ordinary. Very weak writing in all three departments

BOX-OFFICE :
Film will go unnoticed in the theaters, Ujda raha chaman (theatre's) public ke nahi aane sai.Whatever little hype it created was thanks to the movie "Bala". Looking forward for "Bala" now.

Thanks & Regards
