Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency is going to have a unique international film festival called 'UP International Film Festival' on 28, 29 February and 01 March for the first time in Banaras. In which many films, short films, documentary films, music videos and animation films will be shown in different languages. The special thing of this film festival will be that this is the first such event in the land of Banaras which will be from 7:30 am to 4 am under the open sky at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Ghat and Assi Ghat. This festival is one of the rare festivals where the winning film will be given an award as well as a cash prize of one lakh. On the occasion of the New Year, producer director Krishna Mishra held a press conference in his Juhu office where he shared the above information with journalists Amarjeet Mishra and film critic Kumar Mohan.
It is worth noting that in this festival many faces of the film world will participate in the world, including Italian writer and actor Itello Spinelli, Hollywood writer actor David Shepiro, producer and film critic Kumar Mohan, besides Bollywood veteran actor and director will play the role of the judge. . The three-day event of the festival will have special presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and many ministers, and possibly the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to Krishna Mishra, the director of the festival, active as writer producer and director in Mumbai Film Industry, this festival will not only become a reason for entertainment but will also be a cause of tourism, cultural promotion and mass gathering in the region as well as the militants of the country and abroad. And it will prove to be a huge platform for creative directors, producers and artists. In this festival, along with a good prize money, a total of 44 awards will be given to the artists for their outstanding performance in writing, directing, acting and all other genres.
